Batman #181 (or is it #180?) with the first appearance of Poison Ivy with the centerfold poster intact.

If you are just limiting this to Marvel and DC, I would guess DC romance books would be almogst the harder issues. Outside Marvel and DC I would guess the early Undergrounds would be amongst the harder finds and anything targeted at the female reader market.

I agree kamboy. Journey Into Mystery #83 seems to be the toughest SA Marvel key. Followed by Sgt. Fury #1.

For both DC and Marvel...the Silver Age Romance books and the Funny Animal books are in much shorter supply then the superhero...and if you can find them in anything better than Good...you're more than fortunate...

A nice condition copy of the original UK edition of the Classics Illustrated title, "Dr. No". Second would be the DC Showcase variant of the same title in really nice condition....the former is my holy grail when I can afford it, the latter would be an upgrade to my VG/F copy!

Marvel and DC don't really think there are any hard ones there is ALWAYS someone out there with copy your looking for.  I think It comes down to how bad you want it and what condition YOU think it is in
