I was scared to see Ben Affleck as Daredevil, but overall, I really liked the movie.

I grew up with Ben Affleck, lived next door to him until I moved away at age 12. While I was into Ghost Rider, Ben always had eyes only for Daredevil comics. He was loving the Frank Miller DDs when they first came out and I totally didn't get it, I was like "yeah, but his head's NOT on fire ... what's up with that?"

Anyway, I bet it was his dream to be DareDevil in the movies, he must have been so happy to get that part. I haven't actually seen the movie, I heard it kinda sucked and I didn't want to see him blow it. I thought he was really good as George Reeves in Hollywoodland or whatever that movie was called.

Wow, I wish I could say I knew someone that is now super super famous.  That's cool.  Anyways, you should rent the Directors cut of Daredevil.  If you liked Spidey 1, then you will probably like this one.  They go through the origin of Daredevil, like they did with Spidey so I really liked that...then there is some cool fight scenes.   I didn't like their Kingpin or Bullseye.....but it was a pretty decent movie.  I had once heard it was successful enough that they were going to do 2 sequels....but I guess that got cancelled somewhere along the line.

I also forgot the mention Ghost Rider.   I never read the story before and was only familiar with that character from seeing the comics on the shelves......but I didn't care for that movie much at all.   Probably because I don't like Nickolas Cage.  I was sooooo happy to hear he wasn't gonna be Superman because for a long time, I heard he was in the running for Clark Kent......so glad that didn't happen.

I wish movies were longer like Lord Of The Rings......4 hours would be good.  Then they could really develope a good story and fit a 2nd and 3rd villian into it.  The way Spidey 3 was......too much crammed into an hour and a half.  Sandman was cool, but Sandman would have been enough for me.  I didn't need Green Goblin 2, and Venom.   I was stoked when I heard Venom was gonna be in that movie......but I didn't like the kid from That 70's Show playing Eddie Brock.

Sorry for getting away from the topic of Iron Man movie.  Opening day for that is getting close and I am hoping for a midnight showing so I can see it ASAP.

ugg these posts bug me so much... spider-man #1 ruled but hulk su&%*$s mainly cause it took an hour to see the hulk...?   It took almost an hour and twenty minutes to see spidey in his costume in spider-man 1 but all is forgiven?  The Hulk is a killer movie... not crazy about using absorbing man or making him bruces dad, but the CGI for hulk was amazing, and his action scenes completely off the freaking wall.... great movie one of marvels best... the new one looks good too... will see how it goes... oh and Iron Man looks completely out of this world, but it will be a tight run against the new Batman movie... both look extremely si&%*$ (in a good way lol)
