| Alrighty guys I need your advice. Is it worth buying these Fantastic Fours #49 & 50, both for $64? I'm only buying so I can resell them laters, I'm not interested in keeping them.

| Here's another one I'm looking at. The guy is wanting to sell this ASM #1 as part of a set for $4500 but I was thinking of trying to offer him a price for just the #1 and see if he'd take it. I'm wanting to know what would be a good offer for it? He says it has no restoration of any kind, it looks like it does have some water damage.

For the FFs, see what some completed auctions have gone for those. $32 each is a pretty good price, but I don't know if you could make much more mark up in a resale. Last year about this time you would have done pretty good with these. I saw a 48 with a detached staple (probably about a 2.0) go for over $100 (and I don't think it was worth that much in that grade).

| PEP, if you are looking to resale I'd probably pass on the FFs. Just go after #48. On the ASM, it is more risky. You have to be confident in it being unrestored. It is tough to get a grade from those pics. Maybe a 3.0 or 3.5? The 2.5-3.5 range is safe. To be safe, I'd buy under the assumption it is a 2.5. They go for $1300. Offer $800 to start with. Batfan's offer is about FMV for a 3.5 to 4.0. With the water damage, I don't think it would get 4.0. Maybe 3.5. Like I said, I'd offer based on the assumption it was a 2.5. If it ends up being a 3.5 or higher than take a trip to Hawaii or something with the extra cash.

| $2500!!?? I was thinking more along the lines of maybe $1000, anything over that is way above my pay grade as we say in the military. I'm going to try to see if he'll take $800, what about the staples they look like theyre out of place or that they were added on later. Have you ever seen an ASM with staples in that location? Oh and you're right bats, its for me, not going to try to ever resell that unless I'm broke.
