Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if DC Comics had 15 cent price variants in the Silver Age, during the time when comics were only 12 cents? I have a Green Lantern #40 from Oct 1965 that has a price of 15 cent on it. Thanks.

Respectfully,

David

Hello,

Thanks for the replies. I just purchased this comic from a private seller and I just noticed the price variation. Here's the pcture the seller posted:

Have you received the comic yet? It looks like it might be a price sticker?

Hello Mr. Davis,

No, I have not received the comic yet. Hmmm. You make a good point, it may be a sticker. I had not given that thought. I blew up the picture after reading your post, and it did not look like it to me. I guess I have to wait and see. I had been searching for Green Lantern #7 and #40 in decent conditions to help complete my collection, both of which I actually purchased over the weekend. I was so happy I did not notice the variation in the price until after I had sent payment (I was almost positive that GL vol 2 #40 had no reprints floating about). I thank everyone for your help, and your taking time to read and reply to my inquiry.

Respectfully,

David

Mr. Davis,

Upon second look, I think that you may be correct. It just might be a price sticker; it is in a perfectly round circle, and the color is distinctly different from the rest of the comic. I say, if that is a sticker, how am I going to remove that? It may just be better to leave it attached. Well, thanks. I welcome any other ideas. Good day.

Respectfully,

David
