God that is some bad looking TS. He's not only chunky but he's wrinkled all to hell. He looks about 55 with a long running smoking/drinking habit. Is that from the new Invincible title? I'll be skipping that I'm pretty sure. One comic per month of a character who I hate is enough.
What's in my long boxes? http://www.comicspriceguide.com/world/default.asp?m=icebreaka

lol..that's pretty funny.
Makes you think how an Artist just lets his work slip out that way. unless his work is really that bad..then shivers-..(I don't know who it is). But man, you have to think if they were rushed or something..

Y'know, I agree that that splash page looks terrible. Both Stark's face and the armor itself are poorly done. But, the bulkiness and overall larger size of the armor is probably more realistic than most other versions. Sometimes, artists make IM's armored suit seem almost skintight, like the form-fitting tights that most other capes wear in the funny books. Never sat well with me.

Saw a bit of some show where they were talking about fabric that could be switched on into a state that made it stronger than steel. I think they are working on developing it. As far fetched as it is, nanotechnology has the potential to make substances people never dreamed possible. There are scientific theories on how to make cloaking real. Israeli scientist have made a material 10 times harder than diamonds. Scientists are coming up with things that you never dreamt were possible. They've even melted Diamonds with intense heat. They've found a way to turn gold blue.. at least on the surface. Weird stuff is going on. The Iron Man armor seems feasible to me.
