Acolyte (10/2/2008)
It'd be a change from how I normally sell myself... And how is that?...

| Much like I have stopped understanding Frank Miller. Now I can validate my statements... thanks Earl!

| Previews are getting more and more frequent. I wonder what the box office will be for this.

| I think comics are the new wave for action movies, this one should do well. Used to be tough selling a comic as a movie, but with better tech it makes the comics universes come alive. Some (like Captain America) will still be tough to adapt to the silver-screen, but most others will be so much easier. Take a look at 'The Watchmen'... that should be an awesome movie, but couldn't be done right 15-20 years ago. Same with Iron Man.

| Not so much as burned out, as it is that the unitiated will think "WOW! another Miller hit!..." Those of us who know better, see it for what it is, Sin City light.. He said at Comic Con that this was going to be Will Eisner's Spirit, not Frank Miller's Spirit... So as usual, he's full of it. Unless the previews, and commercials are wrong, and its all a snow job, he's showing FM"s version of film noir. I can wait for the dvd...if that, but this is not Will Eisner's Spirit.
