I just came across a few 4-drawer file cabinets. A couple of them look like this:

The third is a 4-drawer just like the other two. It also has a storage compartment on top. I could use that storage compartment to but my extra bags and boards in.
I was going to grab a couple of them this weekend and give them a go. See how those work out. Then I might come back for the third one the next weekend.

The best part about the whole deal is that the are FREE!!!!!!!!!!

If they're free, why not get them all at one time?

Because the truck isn't big enough.

Borrow a bigger truck.... duh!

Here's some pics of my cabinet. Don't need much for 2400 comics. Had to talk the wife into letting me have the closet in the office. My only little spot in the house, other than the garage.

Oh trust me.......I will be doing just that.

The only problem is that I'm torn between putting either 2 or 4 rows in each drawer. Which do you prefer?

Right now I am filing them 2 rows as such with a foam board divider in the middle.

I have yet to fill the drawers completely full as of yet. But I like this way of sorting so far.

It is really easy to sort this way?
Have you tried filling them with 4 rows?

I find it really easy to sort and move books to where I want them.

I like this lateral cabinet a lot and might go back for another.

I have not filled them in a 4 row formation because the two row side to side works well.

Easy to see titles and numbers.

I like those metal cabinets for sure, but I'm sticking to my Drawer Boxes because I can move drawers around in a flash as the collection builds. Have had them over 2 years now, and still in great shape.

This is a pic from when first put them together.

Now, almost 3 years later, and still growing.

I need more of them now.
