Nicely done!!   Keep up the good work!!

I like to think of it as a " search and rescue" mission.   Finding comics at a garage sale, and then re-selling them to people who will give 'em a good home.

DON'T MIND ME, I'M JUST TRACKING DOWN THESE UNCANNY X-MEN COMICS!

Hi all. I've been out of buying/collecting since around October or so of 2008 (nuthin', nada, zip) but I'm back now in a limited capacity so let's get to it.

For those who don't know (or care) I work for a mom and pop garbage company and usually drive/work the recycling routes. Here's what I found this past Wednesday at work.

Not so bad. Nothing spectacular, but all in pretty good shape considering where I pulled them out of.
But that's not all...the very same day, a few hours late, I ran across these.

 Mad Magazine 236, 264, 266-273, 275-285, 287-297, 299, 301-302, 304-306, 321 and 15 various Specials
again, not a pot of gold, nor my cup of tea, but they might help generate some revenue for something more my speed.

Now here's what I purchased.
A pal of mine (TEX) pointed out some Dark Horse Presents Annual 1998 auctions to me a while back, and although I didn't use the links he sent me, I was able to search out this mixed lot containing exactly what I had wanted.

I got these for $11.02 (which breaks down to roughly $1.23 an issue) not to shabby. I only wanted the DHP Ann.'98. The rest will probably get sold off...we'll see.

That's all for now. I have some more coming in the next few days/weeks...Also, I made one huge purchase (for me anyway) yesterday that might come back to bite me...but I'll talk more about that when it gets here.

Oh, no you didn't!!

Are you carrying a 4 leaf clover or what? You got a waaaay better deal on that 1998 DHP Annual than me...and I looked for months for just the right deal. I got mine for $2.75 or something like that...you copped yours in great condition for $1.23 and got a whole cool lot of annuals. BEAUTIFUL! I'm so happy for you right now it's crazy! DeadOne, do you know how awesome that deal is?

Your Shaolin technique is very good . And you're killing me with the secrecy, stop teasing, LOL!!

  Congrats, my friend. Good night.

TEX

Post all them babies for your buddy Tex.

Those are really cool DeadOne.

The photo variants are usually the ones that I like best. I miss the Angel and Buffy shows...good times.

  Very nice pick-ups.
