Set 0ne (7/5/2008)
You do not have any type of virus scanning program on your machine in this day and age?? Why forever not?
Because I'm VERY careful. Paranoid even, about where I go and what I do on my main computers.
I'm a computer consultant, and am likely to be on them at any time during any 24 hr period, and so
would usually end up canceling the scan anyway, since it was slowing the computer down. Plus,
I consider Norton and Mcafee to be WAY too buggy and system resource hogging. There are good
alternatives to those, but they all slow the system down too much while doing their scan (I have a
1.5TB raid array, and it takes a LONG time to scan).

Firefox. Doesn't get virus's, ever.
Also, I don't care how careful you think you are, or how much you think you know. You're crazy if you don't have a Virus Program.

This has just started happening to me. Not sure what the reason is. Every time I go to the cpg homepage my virus protection pops up and says a file with a virus in has been quarantined. Its not really a problem because it only affects a temporary internet file, which I can easily delete. Also, never had this happen before, but there is some sort of ActiveX control the site wants to download on my computer. None of this has happened before today.

The site is just not running smoothly as of late. I tried to direct a customer to the price guide and it's going haywire again with not listing issues.

Something is definitely up with the site. Every page I go to I get a virus warning and there's missing issues all over the site. I think you guys have been invaded. Either that or a bad virus. Sorry, couldn't resist using the smilys

Yeah..me too. I'd have posted this earlier but I COULDN"T LOG INTO THE FORUMS until now. This log-in (to the price guide anyway) has been my first without a virus warning since last night. Good Times!
