That is very sad. I was not a fan of his art style, but nonetheless he had a big impact on the industry. It is sad to see someone like that go at a young age.

Sad indeed, and I was a big fan of Turner's art.

I, for one, am willing to admit that I absolutely loved his art work.  It (and he) will be sorely missed by the industry and the hobbyists alike.

He came to a convention here in Minnesota a few years back and that was one of the few times I had to wait in line for an autograph here. He was very gracious and friendly.

I am at a total loss.  I know you guys may knock me for this, but I am a cover freak.  I'll buy just about anything if the cover catches my eye.  I fondly remember rushing to my LCS back in the day to get copy of fathom or witchblade.  I honestly don't know if I would be into comics today if it were not for MT.  His style was unique, some say they didn't like it, but all could say his covers were eye catching. The comic industry lost one of its greater talents this day.  Sad.  Very sad.
