Hello guys,

My name is David. I have purchased a VF copy of Mirth of a Nation #5 by Harry A. Chesler, and I have the option of buying a VG copy of #1. Does anyone have any information on these please? Thanks.

Respectfully,

Dave

Is something wrong with this post?

I am just asking if anyone had any information on these comics. I cannot find any information on them at all. I cannot understand why this posting would be removed. I do not want to sell them.

Confused,

David

Heres what Ive found..
http://comics.ha.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=818&Lot_No=2411&src=pr#Photo

In the description...
"Mirth of a Nation #5 (Wise Publications, circa 1940) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. Here's a humor comic that's not in the Overstreet guide, and it's the only copy of the issue to be certified by CGC. The comic's in an unusual format, 5" by 7 1/2", with art credited to Harry "A" Chesler, who would go on to become a well-known editor and publisher. This is one for the comic collector who thought he had everything! Not listed in Overstreet. CGC census 7/05: 1 in 9.4, none higher."

I think the problem youre having is that this is considered a magazine, not a comic.

I think it is more of a question to where you posted it. It probably should go in the General area rather than the Rules and FAQ section.

The proper forum for this would be either comic values or general comic discussion, which is why it should be moved. Periodicals with less than 40% comic content are not listed in the database.

Where does he get those wonderful toys!

I have yet begun to surrender.

Fine fine fine, just move the post... dont need three people telling him he posted in the wrong place when its his first time here... you want to correct him, fine but at least help answer his question too...
