Mhm...Good ol' Kiddy marvel, where they dumb it down for you. (That should totally be their slogan)

Heh.

Least i dont have to re-enter College to get the stories
Guess im not high brow enuff.

Thats kinda why the sales of all DC's "HOT" books are dropping......they are not accessible to new readers...not to metnion lazy ones (see Kree_boy).......cept for GL...they retell the orgin every 5min.....and change it 12x durring the retelling....but thats ok....since they are working twards an event that Morrison isnt writting...

Nobody knows that their was a war in heaven... and evil has won!

Including the reader.

Thanks for that history leson...but if i have to go back 100+ issues to figure out whats happening in the 8 issues that comprise Final Crisis...ill pass...Morrison likes to do this sort of thing...but it throws readers off because of the work involved in caring enuff about the story to actually do the research...and i am about a years worth of crappy stories past that point...

Not every opinion is based on reviews.
But personal taste.

Ill stick with Secret Invasion for my event this year.....easy to pickup and know whats going on, at least they give you the history on that event.

Once again ive notice more overly exaggerrated statements in trying to justify that DC is too complicated to jump into whether a seasoned DC fan or newbie.

You dont have to actually go back 100+ issues to understand and even to just get a jists.

Here is some very good reading material... if your really a DC fan or just a reader to get some backstory or to just familiarize yourself with some characters you dont recognize in these also considered stand-alone series:

1) 7 Soldiers of Victory (4 Volume TradePaper back)

 2) Death of the New Gods (2007-2008 8-Issue Mini-series)

3) Jack Kirby's Fourth World Omnibus (4 or more Volume TradePaper back or Hard-Cover)

"In Darkest Day...In Brightest Night... Beware Your Fears Made Into Light... Let Those Who Try To Stop Whats Right ... Burn Like My Power... -SINESTRO'S MIGHT-"

they want to sell me the story....sell me the story....not the story...and then tell me....well i cant help it if your not getting it...do some research.....I CALL SHINANIGANS!

WAIT!.....thats what you just did....are you a DC plant?.....i already know that Remote Kill is

Yeah, not to mention the fact that Final Crisis is not a synopsis of Final Crisis. It's a comic for Christ's sake! You should actually enjoy reading it and looking at it. It's not a success just because you've figured out what's going on, and have read every other obscure comic Morrison has written since 2004. Understanding what the heck you're looking at should be the bare minimum!

It's cool to have a mystery in a comic, and keep people guessing at the solution until the end. BUt the mystery shouldn't be "what the hell did I just read?"

Man, did you hit the nail on the head.  That is the way I have felt since I got back into moderns.  Confusing, and I am an educated person..

Does anyone realize that you dont actually have to do "research" to find the Final Crisis so far at issue #2 interesting or just intriguing.

You guys also once more took simple conjecture to help you with some concerns you had so far with "Final Crisis" to re-read or take another look into "Final Crisis #2" and maybe look at #1 and maybe re-read and maybe... just maybe look at "DC Universe Zero".

I also... (being the cool-hearted person I am) am not a well seasoned DC fanboy or reader... and just recently as of December of 2007 got into comics and hap
