Love the Astro City B3P.  It's an excellent read, you'll love it.  The interiors are done by Brent Anderson, although not as artistically talented as Ross, his art is very good and his story-telling skills are better than Ross himself(my opinion of course).  I really hope you dig it!

Thanks for stopping by head-rush!

I am the same way. I love a cover done by Alex Ross. I will buy certain books just because he has done the cover to it.

I haven't read any of the Astro City books yet. I just bought them because of who did the covers. They've just been stored away since the day they were bought.

Ha, that's what I do with most Ross covers. Some end up on the wall, some I buy doubles of, one for the wall and one to be tucked away. The current Justice Society of America he does the covers and I have read all the issues. Love the stories that have been told in it.

The newest addition to my sketch cover collection:

I already had a copy of this book. I was just trying to pick up another copy in better condition.

Hey bobafettesb,

I like sketch covers alot! You've been throwing up some nice detailed ones indeed. I think that the plastic is obscuring the pic a bit. Is that Black Panther? The guy in the middle of the cover with all the black ink in his costume, who is he? I know I'm nosy...

Thanks Tex!

I took a picture of the cover without the bag this time. Are you able to see it better? I didn't even think about that when I posted it.

Keep an eye open for more sketch covers to come. I will post them when I come across them. I have a few really nice CGC ones coming in from Ebay shortly.

Perfect!

That's lovely artwork. That is Black Panther, and the guy in the middle is Havok, right? Nice outfit. When did he change from the black outfit? That cover rocks!

I'll be waiting for your next posts my friend!

Hey Tex!

You know what? I'm not really sure when Black Panther got his new costume. Hopefully there's someone on here that can answer that question. Maybe someone that actually has time to read all of their comics that they buy?

LOL!

I'm with ya there bobafettesb. Never enough time.

Hey crazy man, Black Panther is till in the black outfit, LOL! I was talking about the guy that I think is Havok. His out used to be all black bodysuit with something like a bulls-eye on the chest, and a atom-like attachment on his head. That's how I remember it anyways. Now it seems like he has a Tron-like costume.

Either way it's cool cover my friend.
