That would make me hotter than a polecat on a turn-spit!
They should have covered the costs of shipping ON THE FIRST MISTAKE. What is with people now a days? You screw it up, you fix it. I feel like I've been sipping crazy kool-aid. Everyone's cryin' about how they can't afford to pay for return shipping for THEIR mistakes. Well what in the fig-feelin' f***k makes them think that we can afford to re-pay for shipping for THEIR screw ups?
C'mon TEX breathe.
I sure do hate that you experienced that boba. Let us know how it turns out. I talked to a guy at CGC last week who was very little help. I bought three copies of Savage Dragon #102, which is now officially Invincible's 1st app, but he hemmed and hawed over the phone as to whether they'd label them as his 1st app. He's said I'd have to send it in with a note and see.
Here's the conversation:
CGC Guy: You'll have to send it in with a note and see.
TEX: Yeah...no, shorthorn. I don't wanna send it in and see. Waste o' money. How's about you tell me now Mr. Man (I mean it's your job to know the answer, right?) and then I'll know whether to waste my time sending it in.
CGC Guy: Errr, just send a note in with it and we'll see, okay...I can't be sure...
TEX: Well, Noble Causes: Family Secrets #3 shipped in DEC 2002, but Savage Dragon #102 shipped in AUG of 2002. It's a no-brainer, right? But I know how political these things can be so...
CGC Guy: Errr, just send a note in with it and we'll see, okay...I can't be sure...
*sigh* Weird, huh? Good luck brother. Tell us how it goes. Have a good day.

| Just got this one in the mail yesterday. It's taken me almost a month to receive it, and it was definitely overgraded. It's a copy of Supreme: The Return #1.

TEXI just got off of the phone with CGC. The guy that I always talk to told me to send in back with attention to him. I said that he would personally walk it over to get the right label put on it and then take it over to get it reslabbed. So we're looking at another couple of weeks here?........hopefully? I also asked him if I would be able to get a coupon for a free submission for repayment on all of the postage that I've had to pay to ship this book back and forth. He said that he would have to see once the book got back to him. I'm not counting on that part. But hopefully they can get it labeled right this time. Once I get this book back, labeled right of course, I have a special treat for ya'll.
