A friendly heads up to all boardies on VCC VIII this weekend. It is a great place to find all kind of great books from across the ages and price ranges, as well as original art and other comic related items. It is one of the safest places to do business in my experience. I NEVER had a problem with any transaction on the boards that was not resolved. The same cannot be said for eBay. Encourage comic exchanges outside of the corporate giant of eBay!

Cool, thanks for the heads up!  I'll check it out, but I doubt I'll spend any money as I'm waiting for Chicago.

Hey King, could you let us know when the next Virtual Comic Con is, around the time it starts.  I know the date is probally easy to find, but finding is one thing and remembering is another.  Thanks dude.

I might actually have to try to buy something this time.

--------------------------------------------

“I don’t do this for the Commander in Chief.  I do this for my country, and I will continue to do so.”

"They are blind to history's clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war. It points to no single instance where this end has justified that means, where appeasement has led to more than a sham peace. Like blackmail, it lays the basis for new and successively greater demands until, as in blackmail, violence becomes the only other alternative."

"Why," my soldiers asked of me, "surrender military advantages to an enemy in the field?" I could not answer.
