| What is everyone's opinion about maybe in the near future of having Rick killed off? Yes/No?? I would hate for that to happen but I think it would be great for the series, what other comic out there has had no main character so to speak?

Pep, I honestly expected that to happen at some point over the last few issues. I was thinking that the book would shift focus more to Lori as she struggled to raise Carl and a newborn by herself. It could have been an interesting angle for one of the most character driven comics out there.

Me too. Now, with all the other deaths, I'm thinking it might be Rick and Carl on thier own.Maybe they'll hook up with others down the road, but it could be a coll place to take the book.

That thought didnt even cross my mind, that would have been a better scenario than having Rick and Carl alone. I'd like to see in the next issue or even a few issues of both of them making their way to another location, sleeping in the woods, trying to find food/water, not just oh here's a house with food/water and no zombies, but then again, they always have a way of surprising us.

Has anyone heard about the series ending at issue 100? One of the workers at my LCS said he had heard it was a 100 issue run only. I hope not.

If you ever read the letters pages in the back, Kirkman has stated he'd do this book for as long as it's profitable and never wants it to end.

i think that in the final issue on the last page it should show rick and carl in a field surrounded in a circle by millions of zombies. then it goes black and all you see is aaaaaggggghhhhh!!!!
just my take. because i like stories that end realistically. the hero doesnt always win, the nerd doesnt get the girl. the father cant save his son or himself from the zombie horde. just my thoughts other than that best book out right now.

Remote_kill (4/28/2008) If you ever read the letters pages in the back, Kirkman has stated he'd do this book for as long as it's profitable and never wants it to end.Yeah, I do remember reading that. He also mentioned how there are new readers coming on board that have not even read the first 6 - 10 issues. So it doesnt appear that it will be ending soon.

| SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!!!! Wow, what an excellent issue, the cover was awesome. I think that the cover is a good foreshadowing of where the next chapter of the series is headed. Did Rick commit suicide???? I would never think that he would do that and leave Carl all alone, especially knowing that he'll turn to a zombie once he's dead. I cant wait till next issue and judging by the cover its going to get more exciting.
