The stroy is going in a different direction and it seems to be a good direction to go in. Sure kill Rick's wife and "child"... disturbing, YES, but they are now out of the prison and as Willie Nelson says.... "On the Road Again"....

| I'm still with it, and I'm enjoying the new direction. I just got a friend to give it a try too, and he's loving it. Still one of the best two or three books out there, IMO.

| I agree it's definitely one of the top books going right now and one I really look forward to when I know it's coming out. I didn't hate the prison arc as much as some people have but I definitely like the new direction. I'm convinced the guy who claims to know how the plague happened is one of those conspiracy guys you can find on the net.

I just got the first three trades for Christmas. Needless to say I just bought number 9 and loving it. One of the best series out there. Although I will most likely wait for each trade to come out.

I have to say that the Walking Dead's new direction is refreshing. New characters and you really have no idea what's going to happen next. Still my favorite book out.
