There was a X-Wing Rogue Squadron group of mini-series back in the late 90s.  I don't remember offhand if any of them included Wedge in them or not, but that's the only place I could think of that might be a place to start.

I just got through reading the paperback X-Wing series. Was awesome. I especially liked watching Corran Horn discover his Jedi past. It brought tears to my eyes when he discovers an old Jedi museum, and unknowing at the time, dicovers his fathers light saber. Now I'm gonna build up my x-wing comic collection. Supposedly Stackpole wrote alot of that to tie in with the paperback series.

I remember reading those in the 90s. They were really good. I don't know about a tear to my eyes but it was good.
