| I actually think that alot of the core titles are doing well and are a good read. Uncanny X-men over the past 1+ year has been the best I've read for quite some time. Daredevil and Captain America are solid and the new Thor series has been very good. I'm okay with what they are doing with Amazing Spiderman (I know I'm in the minority here). I fully enjoy the Ultimate line too and with the new Ultimate Origins storyline kicking off, that could get really good. There is still alot of crap out there but good titles are still around too.

Uncanny is the only title I even follow from Marvel anymore. Not worth my money with all the others....
Sadly, I follow A LOT of Image books now days...
and of course, DC baby !

and of course, DC baby !Robert Kirkman is my favorite Image writer, in my opinion he's one of the best writers out there. He just has this great way of making comics fun again, Invincible, Astounding Wolfman, Brit, and Walking Dead I just love his stuff.

Yeah, Kirkman is amazing. Probably one of the best in the business right now.

See I have recently went through the same CK but with DC. I used to buy over 60 books a month pretty equal split between Marvel and DC with scattered independant then when cutbacks were needed I started going through and by the end of the day I had cut most of my DC titles and several Marvel as well but most of the ones that took the hit were DC, currently being down to only 5 DC monthly titles. I think you're gonna be a fan of whatever characters you like the most at the end of the day no matter who the writing/art team is.
