| why I should start picking up Marvel titles again? I stopped buying them well over a year ago, and frankly I dont think much has changed. I stopped picking them up because I thought the writing was poor and I couldn't justify supporting a company whom I thought could be doing much better by cutting the number of titles and concentrating on a core group. To me, alot of the titles were rehashes of the past and not very original. I know there a coulple good titles out there, but is marvel redeemable at all? How many titles does Wolverine have to be in anyhow? I believe that by cutting the number of titles and concentrating on titles like UXM you would build a stroger base due to better writing and art. So can someone convice me? Go ahead......

| I ain't gonna convince ya, CK. The only Marvel I still have going is UXM, and that's just cause I figure I'll end at 500 even. Support the smaller publishers. If we don't keep them around, we'll be stuck with just Marvel, DC, Image and Dark Horse. Not that it is all bad, Vertigo and Image have some good stuff. Marvel just seems to be stuck in a doldrum of mediocrity.....they need to be shaken out of it by some sales drops........ (Just my opinion....)

| Oh, forgot to mention. What the F**K is going on with all the variants. Looking at Secret Invasion, I mean c'mon! I am not surprised when some of the smaller publishers do it, especially when they, ahem, are various scantily clad female covers, but if Marvel needs to try to sell that many variant covers to keep their #'s up, their product must suck.

Only Marvel I read is Uncanny X-men.
I am getting Secret Invasion...but ...meh...
Just not a big Marvel fan anymore. Hate the style of writing and hate the complete mess they've made of that Universe after Civil War.

Well, the latest Iron man comic to come out held my attention.
Incredible hulk was good until WWH.
We all know about ASM
Which leaves...um, well DC.
Where does he get those wonderful toys!
