Anyone know the reason why Brave and the Bold #54 jumped from $460 to $800, almost over night?

1st appearance of the Teen Titans?

I believe that the issue has been gaining popularity, and has been undervalued in the DB for a while, this was probably just a catch up.

Where does he get those wonderful toys!

I kinda figured the comic to be under valued when, for a while, it was worth $140 less than Teen Titans Vol.1 #1. Just didn't realize that the price would jump up so much, about $340 jump.

Which brings me to my next question: Why wouldn't Brave and the Bold #60 and Showcase #59 be more valuable? Brave and the Bold #54 is the "Unofficial" first Teen Titans and #60 is the "Official" first Teen Titans (With a team name and Wonder Girl joining the team).

Had a VG condition copy for a while. Bought a NM/NM- (about a 9.3), last year, for $300. Glad, I got it, in time.

Looking back over the values B&tB #54 is, now, worth $800 and Teen Titans Vol.1 #1 is worth $600. The two appearances, in between, though, are worth $180 (B&tB #60) and $150 (Showcase #59). Seems a little low...

... I'm just being a little greedy...

I bought my VF copy of The Brave and the Bold no. 54 about 25 years ago for seven bucks. I'm glad to see this book performing so well--though I doubt I'd ever part with it.
