I'll agree with you on the more powerful (at least in relation to this thread), but will disagree that DC has the better thought out characters.

Similar to the thread "Everybody vs. Everybody," but in this case what if all the heros and villains from the DC universe teamed up against all the heros and villains from the Marvel universe, who have also teamed up?

Mind Boggling, isn't it!

In the world of comics and corporations, it's always possible a merger will occur and this could happen. It's pretty even in the total box office receipts. How about the villains of the DC universe against the heros of the Marvel universe and vise-versa DC heros vs. Marvel villians?

I believe the villians would ALWAYS win out in that situation. You notice in the comics it's always 1 villain vs a team of superheroes which pretty much says it all to me.

I think that even if Superman were gone Darkseid and Doomsday would still be enough to handle the Marvel Universe, along with the help of the rest of the DC universe. Which makes me realize that Sherlock is on to something, the villains really do kick some a$$.

Who would win out of the Justice League vs. Avengers?

...The supervillian that got them fighting in the first place.
