Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out here . I bought an issue of Giant Size X-men #1 from 1975 . The seller said it was a 9.0 to 9.2 . When I received the book, the cover seems good , the spine has a couple creases on it, and since its a larger issue the staples are under the front cover. On the front cover, you can see a very tiny pinhole almost coming out right where the staple is. It does not seem like the pinhole is completely through the front cover. The little pinhole is located to the left of the number 68 where the yellow strip on the upper left corner is. I know the pictureis to see, but it gives you an idea. I do not know how to grade comics , so any help would be appreciated in determing whether the book could be a 9.0 with the above flaws. Thanks

Without a better picture it is really hard to give an accurate grade. But:When I received the book, the cover seems good , the spine has a couple creases on it, do they break color, large, small , a couple meaning 2 or a few? The more you can see the less chance you have of it being a 9.0. Best case scenario it's at a 9.2 and since its a larger issue the staples are under the front cover. On the front cover, you can see a very tiny pinhole almost coming out right where the staple is. It does not seem like the pinhole is completely through the front cover. Probably won't kill the grade but in combination with the defects above you are probably looking at a 8.5 to a 9.0. If everything else is perfect, you can stay at that. Anymore defects will continue to drop it down the scale.
