Hello, this is my first post.

I don't have any of my comics graded by the CGC.  I have a handfull of books and several first appearances like Wolvering Sabretooth, Jubilee, Psylocke, Rogue, Cable, Eddie Brock Venom, Punisher, etc.

My Incredible Hulk 181 is in great condition (not official) with the only exception that some total moron cut out a small coupon on one of the pages.

How would this effect the value or having something like this cut out from the book, would it automacally grant it a low condition like Good, fair or similar.

Seeing the 16,000 price tag on this book for a CGC 10 and thinking about that coupon makes me want to put a haiduken on the guy that did it lol.

Eric

Hey, I was going to ask that.

It could go as high as VG price. 75% of Good is more realistic.

Ya sounds like a Marvel Value Stamp. Those are the kiss of death for a book like that. With that missing your book is technically no higher than a 2.0 range comic. Sorry to break it to you. Now with that book being highly sought after and it sounds like the rest of it being in pretty good shape you could probably get the pricing of a 4.0 ish book for it. I doubt any higher though.

What's in my long boxes? http://www.comicspriceguide.com/world/default.asp?m=icebreaka

Thanks for the responses!

I am away from my collection and will be probably for about another week. The book is in really great shape other than that thing missing.  I don't really recall if I have the marvel milestone edition of that book right off hand to look and see what it is.

Thats the kind of Irony that I appreciate though, the marvel value stamp really getting me valuewise....but its irony that hurts me deep inside lolol.

See, My goal is to raise about 3500 dollars for an analogue synth (Moog).  I have a first appearance of Punisher prolly in fair to poor condition but the sabretooth is great.

I called the CGC though, and the guy told me that basically they just add together blemishes that lower the grade.  He said that it coudl get a certian higher grade but with a green sticker or something that says "Ad cut out".  I really don't know much about the CGC, ive had these books in a lock box for about 15 years and I really don't want to part with them, just my lust for Moog has brought me to this point.

Isn't a Haiduken a Streetfighter Move?

THanks again for your help, guys.

Respectfully,

Eric
