There are multiple copies of #1 at my LCS for $9.95. I should probably take a look through them and see if there are any in sweet shape. That is an insane price for a 12 issue lot.

Nice work BMXman. That's a crafty way to make some big bucks. Packaging high grade CGC of a series together. Seems like the only real way to make money in the trade now is this type of craftiness.

Nice work BMXman. That's a crafty way to make some big bucks. Packaging high grade CGC of a series together. Seems like the only real way to make money in the trade now is this type of craftiness.
well I decided to try and sell them so I can get back a copy of X-men 1..well see how it goes

Now that I have a complete 9.8 set I'm not sure what to do...I just feel like a weight has been lifted 'cause it's taken me a while...over 4 months I think...but I see some other guy is selling the complete set for 13 grand...I don't know if it's worth that much but is sure is tempting to find out.
I could buy a whole lot more SA and BA books with 13 grand

that's one of them...there is actually another seller that has a set as well...both of them are asking 12-13K though...D

yeah I'm thinking the same thing..but after talking to some people apparently he's already sold one set @ 13 grand and is now selling a 2nd...DHe never actually sold his set. He initially put the set up for $3K then increased it by $1K every month until it hit $8K I think (mid '07). It was then off ebay for a couple months but finally came back at $12K. In those two months, the only thing that changed (other than the price) was that all the comics now had the new CGC labels. Previously, I think five of them had the old labels.
