| I think Blue Dolphin produced several art books like that. Never mentioned them before as they looked like art books and/or sketch books rather than comics. Of course if it's a compilation of comic strips by Al, rather than sketches then it would be a comic anyway. They also did a range of portfolio's of various comic, fantasy and sci-fi artists.

| My copy is coming from Jim Van Hise, the author...another longtime acquaintance... I'll ask him some questions about Blue Dolphin from back in those days and see what he can tell me...

| Art of Al Williamson arrived... Indicia says: Published by Blue Dolphin Enterprises, Distributed by Pacific Comics... ...and 70 out of 144 pages contsist of reprints of Williamson stories and strips...so I would say it fits the criteria... Published in both hardcover and softcover....

| Thanks for the info Steph. I will track copies down in time. There are several for sale on ebay right now but nothing cheap. Another Art Book by Blue Dolphin is 'The Art of Blade Runner' but I doubt that has any comic strip material in it. Earl.
