they are all pretty freakin' cool!
i am collecting the Complete Peanuts series (Fantagraphics)...
buying the slipcased sets when they come out on Amazon, usually around NOV for ~$35.
usually, w/ the sets... the 1st book is a 2nd print & the 2nd book is a 1st.

anyways, i just got a reader copy of the Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) "Unseen" Peanuts (2007),
so lately i have been into all things Peanuts.
didn't know a thing about any of this stuff.

I've been buying them as they come out, but have not picked up any of the slipcased versions...I'll probably regret it down the road, but my fanboy-collector mentality says I have to go with the firsts, even when sometimes they have mistakes, like the most recent one apparently has. I collected Peanuts in those hardback treasury sized books they used to publish, like Sandlot Peanuts, The Snoopy Festival, and I even have a signed by Schulz 1st of Peanuts Classics....I also have a few scattered pbs and other Peanuts books, but I'm glad Fantagraphics has decided to collect all the strips. Between that series, the Krazy kat and Popeye collections, these days Fantagraphics is getting a major part of my comics budget....Yay!

Here are some more UG and TJB related books that I finally got around to digging out of the shelves and scanning. The last scan, though, was a purchase this week via Abe for $5 and was referred to in the sellers' listing as a very naughty coloring book......not so, it's just another Von Thrubble gem! Steal, Deal or Dud? You decide! I, however, am beginning to develop a taste for VT....crude and hi-larious in an almost Hee-Haw kind of way...
