Hey over40artist  is the other board you mentioned more active as far as the forums go?

I really like the folks here and it's the only place I have found thus far where people are stoked and very knowledgeable about ug's. I just wish there was more activity here. It seems like there is one post a day, at best.

I would like to get on some boards that are more active. Is headcomix.com a good start?

Thanks

yeah... as far as active undergrounds it is just Head Comix and here (like 2 threads on CGC boards)
IIT posts over there a lot more b/c he is a moderator
& sometimes BrotherJ and GoodDr (who used to post lots at the old boards)
and Sir Real posts over there almost exclusively

i just picked up buying after being on a 6+mo slump
i think it's also a slow time right now w/ Spring and before the San Diego Con for some people.
i know O40 has been talking about sorting through his collection and selling some stuff off.
the move to the new boards probably just made it easier for all of us to scale back on our buying and re-think where our collecting (and fandom) are going.

The "other board" is much more active than this one. What's more, there's no censorship, which can be a handy dandy thing, especially when posting explicit covers. And then there's the fact that it's tied into the wiki, which means that a good portion of the community is focusing their efforts on building and maintaining a massive comix database, chock full of information.

As sentimental as I am about this board, I find that my visits are much more infrequent for said reasons.

Yes, the other board is a bit more active and even though I'm a mod. over there I enjoy checking out both boards daily...

On another note:
Yesterday I acquired a large stock of Ug's. Only a couple rarities, but a large amount of the less rare items. Condition isn't primo (it estimate the average is F+/VF-), not many 1st prints on the most wanted, but early prints on most Ug's you could be looking for. If you're looking for something, you can send me an e-mail of your want lists. Figure it'll take me just a month or so to organize and inventory it all... Eventually down the line, I hope to start up my own internet Underground Comix webstore with this stock.

Just got back from Jazz Fest yesterday morning... And what do I find I've won?

How about some more Tj bibles...

Or perhaps some Montana undergrounds...

What a pleasant surprise I must say.

Hope this finds you well... jUSTIN

Love those bibles... You are building a sweet collection of those, OM. I like the Missoula titles, too.

GUMP!
