Slowly updating my database. Fogel's update is just a couple-three months away (I'm helping him finish it). By October, after adjusting values for comix that have never been in any price guide, I will have a major upward adjustment to my statistics.

Sadly, after that, my inventory will start to plummet (come see me at the Dallas con). But only temporarily, I hope. But for a month or two towards the end of the year, I will continue to walk with the legends....

Why are you selling off a bunch of your books?

I need to pay off some 0% interest credit card debt that I incurred while I was on a long buying spree last year. The promotional interest is going to run out by the end of the year, so I gotta pay it off or pay real interest (like 10%) on the debt.

I bought the comic books in the first place to build a database of high-quality cover scans and interior sample pages of underground comics for a future web site. Now that the scans are done, it's time to unload them (I just wish the market wasn't so stagnant right now).

BTW, I won't be at the Dallas con after all. Hope to make it to APE in early November.
