Make that four. I actually ended up with a whole collection of Spire Christian Comics in an Estate Auction. Bid $30 on a box of 300 comics. 30 or 40 of which were the Spire comics.

The Fuj (6/7/2008)
Some of those books are "claw out your eyes" inducing, but if you don't have
that piece of crap, you cant be a comic collector. You gotta love the crap they thought of in the 90s. The comic companies were hurting and they still came out with this crap.

over40artist (6/4/2008)
Earl Davis (6/3/2008) Other than 'being an amputee means you can still have an active sex life' what statement were thecreators trying to make?
It wasn't just proving the point that amputees could have an active sex life. It was to show that amputee sex could be better than non-amputee sex.
Rich Jensen was the "artist" and Rene Jensen (a double amputee) was the author of Amputee Love. In 1975, at the time their comic was published, amputation love was something of a hotbed erotic topic. It was sometimes referred to as the "eroticization of the stump." I'll leave it to your imagination to play out the creative methodology employed by amputees to optimize sexual stimulation.
Since the '70s (and even decades before), believe it or not, a significant number of people were "wannabe" amputees who desired sexual engagement with both amputees and non-amputees. Some even went so far as to have one of their own limbs voluntarily amputated so that they could "be authentic" and pursue their fetish. This bizarre practice still occurs today.
Very interesting article about all of this is here:

The above is a book I'm in no hurry to sell, but at the risk of incurring the wrath of the powers that be at this here sight, I figured I'd bring it to y'alls attention as you were having such a reasonable discussion about the subject....
WESTPORTALBOOKS ARE SQUINKY BOOKS!
