This is a good question. At times I feel as if guide is always too low and other times I feel like CPG is too high.

Anyways..CPG varies. Some stuff is listed too low, some is too high. I just try to find an even ground with the others. Average them out...

i have noticed there is a good difference in price between cpg and overstreet. cpg is higher. but at my lcs they dont use cpg everything is strictly overstreet. usually on the high side.

I use CPG to get an idea on what my comics are worth but if I want to sell one I'll watch bids on Ebay and look at online stores to find the market value.
