Read the first couple issues yesterday and I actually got more of it than I have most of the stuff Morrison has written the past year.  I still hate the non-linear storytelling thing that seems forced in a lot of cases.  I don't like how quickly he's decided to show Jet the whole batcave and his whole life. They haven't been dating that long in the series it doesn't seem like.

morrison and kubert began on Batman 655..shortly after the OYL storyline..I believe.

Personally, I like where its going. You have to believe that after all these years, something had to catch up to him.The RIP storyline will see an end to BATMAN..but I think he's coming back..just not the Bat's we're all accustomed to.

DC could just have him make a deal with the devil i guess, and poof...MAGIC !....(Yeah, that's never going to get old..heh)

I still love where it's going though.

I like Morrison script more and more. I enjoy every title he write. All Star Superman is the best book around since issue 1, thanks to Quitely too. I enjoied FC 1, I am sure this Crisis will surprise all of us.

And Batman is a better character since Morrison arrival. It's time to have a very different Batman, not the character he was until a couple of years ago...always the same story, great detective, some crazy nemesis, case solved, crazy nemesis sent back to Arkham...

RIP will be the end of Bruce Wayne we know....There will be a new and transformed Bruce Wayne under the bat mask

I agree with all that.

And Next to Green lantern, Batman has been the next best written book at DC for a while now.

Exactamundo!

The Batman, like the Joker..is going or for a better term, goes through stages...He changes, whether forced or self emposed, so as to better combat the new criminal eliment that is arising in his time...As his time changes, so does he, and his metheods. Morrison may take a bit to write about it, but it does wrap up and come together...it all fits the "Grand Scheme" of things to come in the DCU...Stop a moment and look at the coming big picture, if you will.... A darker evil is coming...A darker hero will be needed...That is what we will see.

You'll see...

I like the way the story is going...The cover for 677..dug it..It showed perfectly where Batman's state of mind is...He's stuck between the life he wants...and the life he lives...

Are they using the Black Glove as a metaphore for his own life choices? who knows..we'll have to wait and see...

And to answer the question about who Jett is? She sho
