Thanks for all the constructive criticism.  I will really think before I post.  I don't know sometimes why I do that. I will go ahead and read the book, and then I will give my opinion.

Sorry if I was an annoyance......  There, now that wasn't so bad, was it?

I agreed MArtian death should has been handled in a deeper way...

That said, I really wish Final Crisis is the MAIN EVENT everybody want to see. And I hope Batman RIP is very connected to FC. I put my bet on Morrison, and I stick with it

P.M. sent and you are NOT an annoyance. You have a lot to say and I for one appreciate when you do.

Ok, back to the subject at hand and my apologies for sidetracking this....

I actually went to the DC boards as I mentioned in an earlier post. Any of you feel inclined to do so, checkout the Crisis forum. Lots of folks confused and a bit surpised by the first issue. Some interesting reading and opinions...

Anyways....

I just FINALLY read it, and....what the hell?..I seem to be the only one looking forward to whats to come..heh. Oh well.

I wasn't confused by any of it really. I read all of 52 though, and some of the Death of the new Gods stuff, not even all of it, and i ONLY just really got into DC last year, and I understood what was going on.

People need to start understanding that DC's books are way deeper than Marvels. Marvel has a lot of people spoiled with their straight out written plots detailed for little kids pretty much. DC is more of an adult driven universe, and i love it that way. Gives more fulfillment and makes for more thinking.

People hate on Morrison, But I like his writing. Sure he jumps around a lot, but it all ends up coming together into something special in the end. Much like Batman RIP is turning into doing..

I'm not even a fan of The Martian, but i was still at AWE when I saw a flame through his chest.

I'm on this book for the long run. DC knows what they're doing. The first book would of got a serious over haul if they didn't already know what was coming with the later books. So I'm looking forward to it.

Well, if DC can instill this much faith in a reader then they must be doing something right! I'll just say this: Final Crisis #1 came out; many read it; many were lost; and many of those many are considering skipping the rest of the series, or giving it one more chance at best. This is not success.

Also, as far as I'm concerned, the fault is not Morrison's. It's the editor who's ultimately responsible for this sort of problem.
