| you might be allowed to join the Price Guild if you have a member sponsor you. I can sponsor you if you pay for a years worth of premium membership (for me) on my behalf. Of course you will also be required to pay for a year for yourself as well. Guild memberships has many benefits, many of which you will not be able to unlock until after your secret iniation... be sure to bring your favorite comic book, a copy of your sponsors favorite comic book, a sleep mask, and a large pepperoni pizza, thin crust. welcome to the first step into Guild iniation: may your journey be a welcome and ingratiating one! Oh and by the way, do not tell any outsiders anything about the Guild... ever! the adversary has agents listening everywhere!

Welcome to the boards and once you're through with the "guild" initiation then we can discuss how you can receive TOP DOLLOR for your books.

I do this for my country, and I will continue to do so.” "They are blind to history's clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war. It points to no single instance where this end has justified that means, where appeasement has led to more than a sham peace. Like blackmail, it lays the basis for new and successively greater demands until, as in blackmail, violence becomes the only other alternative." "Why," my soldiers asked of me, "surrender military advantages to an enemy in the field?" I could not answer. - Gen Douglas MacArthur

Lookwhoitis (5/29/2008) you might be allowedto join the Price Guild if you have a member sponsor you. I can sponsor you if you pay for a years worth of premium membership (for me) on my behalf. Of course you will also be requiredto pay for a year for yourself as well.

Lookwhoitis, this is a very generous offer and I commend you for it. But SPLITZY has been told that he has to buy the entire guild!
SPLITZY, I think someone (the adversary??) is taking advantage of you.
Seriously though, take a look at the Comics Price Guide site for an idea of values for your comic. And you might want to take a closer look at it. It's very rare for a comic to be in "Mint" condition.

First open the book to the first page, then look towards the bottom. There will be in bold print the title of the book and how it is listed in a price guide. Then follow the above link to the ComicsPriceGuide and look the book up by title or by publisher. "Mint" means different things to different people but to collector's it means "without any visible or invisible flaws." A book that has been handled at all probably would not be considered "mint." And in case you haven't noticed, the people around here are particular about the use of that word and on occasion spelling.
Good luck on your search, and welcome to the boards.
Where does he get those wonderful toys!
I have yet begun to surrender.
