Howdy all, Well i am back to collecting comics after a 15 year haitus. I have gone through and orginized my older stash, and i cant find on the price guide

Wolverine vs. the incredible hulk # 55. I know it is there and I am just an igmo, but can some one put a link up for me please.

I forgot how fun it was to collect comics, now that my daughter is at reading age I find myself buying her comics (which is great to me). She has gotten me into Justice league and wonder woman ( though Hawkgirl is her favorite or Huntress). Better Comic Book heros then disney princess' I say.

Its funny to go back and look at what i collected back when i was a teen, but i dont remember there being this huge of a variety back then either.

If anyone cares at all, I am looking for star wars legacy and captain america.

Anyway thank you for your help and time, and I am sure I will see you on the boards quite often

K

Thank you for the reply. Told ya I was an igmo. Well that takes care of the online update now. Now on to bigger and better books. Though I do have a question being new here and all. At what point does one consider "slabbing" a book? If you know it is going to be a big issue (insert name here), do you buy 2 and send one off to get graded? I am just curious as i know I have a few (not so old) comics from the late 80's early 90's (i read that is a bad era) that are VF+ to maybe NM- . Are those really worth sending off? in your own opinion of course.

Don't listen to the mutt, he has too much coffee and not enough sleep.

You can slab a book if you are great at determining the big thing! But like everyone else, you just basically hope. Mostly around here the only reason people slab a book is a) to resell it or b) perserve it.

King of Rulers is a wealth of information about CGC and KPS01 has had a ton of dealings with PGX and CGC, they offer better insights into these things. Oh and if you can find him Iron Maniac is probably THE expert.

Where does he get those wonderful toys!

I have yet begun to surrender.

i love a debate about slabbing vs raw..i'm really old school -what really is worth slabbing?

imo the stuff i'm actually going to keep for a while-bought/trade bks with the intention of keeping them for a longtime- or bks in very high grade to max the value then selling it asap

lastly bks worth over $150+ to keep the value...to me it's a very costly process..from my understanding it'll run me $20+ a pop..figureing shipping handling and all that good stuff..also

that's the low end side the turnaround time is over a month if you want it faster add in more

$$$$ some buddies of mine told me i should slab a few bks just to see what's their consistancy

wouldn't you be nervous if you were to send your really nice stuff to them and something bad were to happen? i've had my share of baddddd experiences with ups usps fedx ..sorry getting off the point ....too much brew.. i think the cgc was a great idea i'm probably going to get some stuff slabbed atleast i want to all this would be moot if i won the lottery or found out

bill gates was my long lost relative...i wish   and good luck deciding ...time for a shot jack

he'll help me
