mrcomic (4/2/2008) how much do you think this would cost in ok condition. 1st appearance ever of Spider Man in a comic book, Amazing Fantasy #15 issued in September of 1962If you have one its actually pretty worthless. I'll do you a favor and give you $10.00 for it. No need in keeping extra junk around the house. I'll make sure to sell, I mean keep it forever!

| Amazing Fantasy 15 is on fire at the moment with many sales well above the guide values shown in the above link. Earl.

That seems a tad too high..even for a book that big.. I disagree. CPG is very conservative on AF 15 at the moment. A CGC 9.4 sold for $210,000 in 2007. Books just below 7.0 have been selling for well above the CPG value this year. Earl.

Since I was doing my share of searching for this book not too long ago, what Ive come across a lot of the 1.5's (as seen on the CGC boards, as well as ebay and comic link) went for around 1800, while 2.0's went for around 2200. Never have I seen an amazing fantasy 15 in Good(2.0, not necessarily "good" ) condition sell for $3600 which is listed on CPG. That is just way too high. Even now as you can see on comiclinks current auctions, one of the VG amz fantasies sold for 4199 which CPG has listed at $6480. And comiclinks auctions tend to realize close to market value for most books.

Yea I was just looking at the stuff below VG. I have no idea what this book goes for in higher grades besides the fact that it'll cost as much as a house

I just love these kind of posts though. People who come to a price guide site that lists the prices in all conditions for pretty much all books and then post a question like that instead of just looking it up themselves.
