So let me relay my lastest pain with an Ebay seller...
I purchased a jersey...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120247961704&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=002
As the auction says, it is an Adult Large... thats all the sizing information thats provided... when I get the jersey, I try it on and its too big for me... I look for the size and all thats on the jersey is a chest size (48), no S-M-L-XL labeling... since this is supposed to be an authentic Majestic jersey, I went to their website to see the sizing chart...
http://store.majesticathletic.com/Content.aspx?id=17&lr=n#sizing
It clearly states that a chest size 48 is an XL... therefore, I was sent the wrong jersey size correct?
The seller claims they didnt know much about baseball (I dont see how that matters) and thought it was the right size... they have a 44 and will send it to me if I send the other jersey back... I was going to do that my having it returned to sender with all my address info blacked out... but then I say the return address was just a couple miles away from my office...
I so Im trying to see if I can just drop it off at the return address so they can send me another jersey, kind of dumb to have it shipped somewhere thats not too far away from my office... plus, technically, I shouldnt be paying for any shipping since it was there mistake, right? Now they are giving me this whole line about it being an offsite warehouse and that they will not meet me yada yada, which I could care less about meeting them, I just want to drop it off so they can ship another one... plus an address is just an address whether or not its an offsite warehouse or not...
Plus, they keep reiterating about how long its taking to get the jersey back ... the only reason its taking anytime at all is because of the going back and forth on email... they will probably try to use some limited number of days return policy crap soon...
Anyway, any thoughts...

Some people just flat out won't have pick ups and it doesn't matter how close the seller/buyer is...I've had this before. I don't want to have someone come to my house..If I wanted to do that I'd have a garage sale...I dunno I just don't like the idea of it overal.
If they truely are a warehouse they mighten have an area where the public can go to do business so it's why they aren't allowing it.
If they've sent you the wrong size I'd kinda be enclinded to ask for shipping on the item you're going to send back to them....But you said the place isn't that far so it won't cost that much?
But also this could be just a honest mistake...I know I've orderd clothing from a shop and they sent me the wrong size (first time they have ever mucked up on me)...If I wanted to get the right one I'd have to pay for shipping -sending the item to them and getting the new package.
You can always try and reason with them but in their auction they don't state anything about returns or anything really cept for what the item is....I guess the other way is to open an ebay dispute for item recieved but not what you ordered...It might change their minds? I dunno..sometimes appling pressure will make the seller see that you mean business and that they can't push you around...And from what you've said you have tried to reason with them without bringing it to be official.
Tell them you'd like to have the item shipped to you for free. But just pay the shipping cost to send it back like I said if it's so close it shouldn't be too much money.
