DeadOne (5/17/2009)
Tales of the Green Lantern Corps Annual #2

Is there something I'm not aware of? (regarding this comic ... let's not start a list of all the stuff I'm not aware of ... geeezz.)

I second DeadOne's question...what's the significance of this isssue?

What's in my long boxes? http://www.comicspriceguide.com/world/default.asp?m=Magic%20Dan

I don't see any hints in Overstreet...

I have that issue (quarter box score, never read it.)
Is Sinestro hot for some reason?

Alan Moore has had a lot to be crabby about lately, finding out that The Green Lantern Corps Ann #2 is his most valuable comic might push him over the edge.

I don't read recent Green Lantern, but I have this issue. I went through it and I believe the value might stem from the a meeting between Abin Sur and an entity called Qull where Qull relates the downfall of the Green Lantern Corps and the Oans (as well as Abin's own death and the rise of Hal Jordan). I imagine this could be considered a prelude to The Sinestro Wars/Blackest Night.

Anyway, as Robbie mentioned, maybe it's a good time to scour those quarter bins?

Sure... So, it'll cool off as that story arc ends.

That's weird,

I just heard that this comic may have to do with Blackest Night, so I found 2 of them at tcomics.com; one in vf+ condition for $2.50, and one in vf condition for $2.00, so I copped them both. $4.50 all told. $80 on ebay!! Uy-yuy!! I guess I'll definitely be selling one of them.

Huh, I just found two of them at the shop I've been raiding, paid half of cover price. Now if only I sold on ebay instead of just buying...

.

I wont lie, shinedown's version is good, but Lynyrd Skynyrd's is what Jesus, Chuck Norris, Chesty Puller, Ronald Reagan, and my Father listen to every morning when they wake up. -'bobthebanshee' on Skynard's 'Simple Man' (an all-time favorite)

A NEW MUTANTS CLASSIC vol.1 tpb for $112? WTF!?! I got one from Amazon for $16. Hell, the cover price is $25 & it's still in print! Are these auctions just a front for something else? Like a prostitution ring, or a ponzi scheme or something?

This one makes me feel kind of sad for the bidders:

http://cgi.ebay.com/lot-of-The-Amazing-Spiderman-comics-collectible-series_W0QQitemZ190360729709QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2c5262386d

I say kind of sad, because if your stupid enough to make bids like that,
then you probably deserve to be taught a lesson.
