Hey-hey-hey!!

Home early today! How are you guys? Doing good, doing fine, having fun all the frickin' time?

  SWEET!

I know that many of us are really busy, I know it's about to get really hectic for me, which means I may have to go missing from the boards a tick. Just for a few weeks. But right now, I'm here with you guys so let's rock!!

I would like to share a few of my ebay pick ups. I got this one a few days back:

It's Our Fighting Forces #123, the 1st app of The Losers!! I love The Losers! This comic is tough to find in any decent condition. I already have a copy, but it's a G/VG at best. This one looks like if may make Fine, I hope! Either way, it looks way better than the copy that I already have.

COST: $6.60!

and....

Big List of Tex's GUNS

next:

It's Tomb of Dracula #10, the 1st app of Blade the Vampire Hunter!!! It's signed by Marv Wolfman!! I have wanted this one for quite a while, but as usual, I wasn't willing to shell out heavy ducats. I think this is in VG condition, but that's fine until I find a replacement. YEAH!!!!!

COST: $12.50!!!! That's right!!

Dam# it feels good 2 B a gangsta!!

ENJOY!!

The comics that come in Wizard are not very cool

Love those promo comics also Robbie.

Nice Maxx ashcan as well murch.

Really? oh man... but they're include in the issue - that means lots of people who don't care have one they got for "Free". The promo cards are even worse - they go to people that don't even want a card collection. Most of mine are misfiled because I couldn't figure out what box to put them in. I'm also not jazzed about the Bionicle promo comics.

Ones that you have to mail away for are fun. (Mail away toys are even better.)

And I usually like old comics more than new ones, whenever I buy a new comic, it turns into an old comic, but the old ones stay old

Here's the equation I work with:

Free + Comic Book = Cool

I guess it only really applies if you already get the magazine. Otherwise you have to pay for something that was free and is probably being sold by someone who doesn't care.

LOL, I get it ... see I worked it out while I was typing, lol.

Mail orders are very cool. Does any company do this anymore?

Exactly - it's only awesome if the freebie is something you want and came in something you probably would have bought anyhow.

CGC Wizard variants get a big yawn from me, I think collectors buying them for $75++ won't be buying comics 10 years from now.

Wizard used to have mail away action figures, I bought one.

I mailed away for this one in 2003, guess that doesn't count as "anymore".

kinda goofy - as one would expect of a story using the Hulk to sell padlocks.

My buddy & I bought several cases of Bonkers candy to get "free" TMNT stickers... and far too many TMNT Hostess Pies for the same reason.

Just won this for $7.83, including shipping (way below original retail). I'll get some scans of the comic when it arrives.

I don't have any of the comics that came with the old Atari games. Don't remember ever seeing any, but I remember having an Atari - maybe my dad bought a used one which didn't have any boxes or comics

Those look cool!

I'm going to have to see bigger pics Robbie! I can't place those. I have the complete Atari Force mini comics set, but I can't remember much else about Atari.

That's kind of neat, but what I find humerous is the 'limited 1 of 50,000' tag.  1 of 50,000...that's larger than many modern print runs   Granted, many of these are disposed of, but still.

yeah, I think 50,000 should more than cover all the Hulk collectors who really like padlocks.

somebody must have unopened cases
