Did anyone check out the Tor #1 that just came out? I was quite pleased with it. Really nice pacing, and sweet artwork (of course).

Have to agree with you...This was some real old school styling to the art, the pacing of the story..it all came together rather nicely.

Looking forward to the next issue..

Just saw a review for it today on Pulp Secret and was thinking I'd pick it up this week. The art looked fantastic!

I just got and read the second issue this evening. Another good one. I wish more comics could be like this. It's just plain ol' good writing/art combo, a pleasure to look at and read. And so NOT the huge blockbuster event of the Summer (thank Gog)!

Yeah it's pretty good huh? It's nice to read a comic every once in a while and not feel like I don't get it all because I haven't bought every related title for the past six years! {i.e.- Final Crisis #1}

I have both issues, but not had a chance to read 'em yet.  Sounds promising.
