CPG please take note of this sale.

Ebay: TMNT #1 First Print Blue Universal Label

CGC 9.4 White Pages

My jaw hurts from hitting the floor like a sack of rocks. I thought this bidding would've stalled at $2,800. Then it hit $3,500 and still hadn't met the seller's reserve. Blink Ended dramatically at the finish line.

Thank you,

-Dan

One record price does not mean instant price guide price change. Nice price though. It is a pretty scarce book relatively speaking.

That's crazy money for a 9.8, but it was a 9.4.

Be interesting to see how many people with a 9.4 or better become inspired to sell their copy.

True. CPG has the CGC 9.4 value of this book at the $6,000.00 mark. However, this current Ebay sale is as high as I've see for a CGC 9.4. in a while. Just want to keep the values true to perspective. The value at this grade should be lower. $6,000 is too high at this point in time.

Now What will be interesting is to watch the cgc Census on this book, now that it's been sold recently it may cause a run on the book.

as per Robbies point i Completely understand.
but i think at this point people are just trying to complete sets and 9.8 or not i think anything better than 9.0 is worth grabbing up.

less people seem to be able to afford to slab their books but buying one that's already done by someone else seems to be the trend now, i've even been considering it myself.

Great deal,....hope they keep going up in selling price BigGrin . And here's why:

I have #1 thru #9 (two #8's and two #9's) all 1st prints ( at least they look to be, after research). #1 is the one that scares me a tad, but everything I've read to look for in this issue is there, for it to be an original copy 1st print (just like it was supposed to be, when bought way back when). And also have what looks to be a 3rd printing of issue #1, judging by the storyline on the inside of the front cover. Also #1 thru #4 of the micro series... All comics are ungraded.

Anyone Interested? Send me a P.M. or maybe reply in this post if allowed (if I haven't abused to rule system already, by throwing out bait) or going off topic a tad.... if so , please forgive me mods Blush . Make it all disappear, and no hard feelings honest. In truth I would feel much better about Ohio buyers or anyone willing to meet me in my immediate area (cause I really don't want to travel far . I wouldn't expect someone to buy something that they couldn't see first. At least of this nature.
