So, I guess I'm not going to be able to pass up this Final Crisis thing. Where do y'all get your new issues these days? Are there good Web sites? Maybe less than cover price, or with decent shipping that won't screw the comics up?

I do all my purchasing through a subscription service (Mailordercomics.com), but I do periodically miss some things and I usually get them at Midtowncomics.com

They have 15% off all their new books, they bag and board all there comics, and they offer free shipping on orders over $75.

I checked out mailordercomics.com yesterday. It's a confusing web site (and slow too, or was that me?). It looks like you can't really subscribe to anything right? You have to order anew every month?

some sites have pull lists, others don't. Most have a "search" and ordering every month really isn't that hard. I use dcbservice.com (discount comic book service) and yesterday I ordered 25 comics which took me about 1/2 hr or less from start to finish. Shipping is $5.95 for delivery of once a month. I use the Previews catalog and make a list of what I want and then order online. Books arrive in excellent condition everytime. A book at a cover price of $2.99 is listed at $1.79 most often at dcbservice.com.
Try a few sites and do a dry run and see which works best for you without checking out. Once you find what you like in a sites listings or price use them. Most here that use an online store seem to use mailordercomics.com. A few of us use dcbservice.com.

I use dcbservice now for almost a year. I like them a lot, they answer my questions very quickly thru email or by phone. Comics have always arrived in great condition. A+

Most of the subsription services (Mail Order and DCBS) allow you to set up pull lists.  I have a pull list set up at Mailordercomics.com.  It loads all the books on my pull list at the begining of each month.

I thought you were asking about New comics and not subsriptions.  These sub services require you to buy the books about three months in advance of the actual shipping date, which saves you about 30 or 35% off the book but you need to know what you want.

The site Midtowncomics.com allows you to order books the books the week the arrive in the store, but only saves you 15%.  You can also set up pull lists or substriptions here, but the savings isn't much better.
