You also get a little history thrown in so it's not a total waste of time. It is indeed a faithful adaptation of a certain genre of comic book, so it has earned a place in my book along with any other adaptation of comics...whether were talking Lil' Abner, Modesty Blaise, Danger Diabolik, Fritz The Cat, Ghost World, Watchmen, or Spider-Man 3.
