Hmmm I dont do the outbid thing, but I have amassed quite a few funny animal titles, mostly hitting Antique Shops, Collectors' Shows and Conventions. Fawcett Funny Animals, any number of Disney, Dell, Gold Key, etc stuff. Captain Carrot. I think I am gonna scoop up all the Thunder Bunny and maybe Wacky Witch stuff next, that looks groovy.

I just don't have any funny animals titles in my collection.

Not that I have anything against the idea...they just aren't high on my collecting wants.

I picked up a Sparkle Comics recently...but unless you consider Sluggo to be an animal, it really doesn't qualify. ;)

Ya Know its funny. I can still read Pogo (Walt Kelly is brilliant), Barks Ducks have the art & the humor to hold up, I'm goofy for Hoppy the Marvel Bunny.........Tonight I tried to read an issue of "Fox & Crow" today and it was horrible!
Just proof that not all "Funny Animal Titles" are funny!
But I still love 'em! :P

I am always looking for GA Walt Disney Comics & Stories on ebay...

But I have an almost full Carl BArks collection in italian editions

And yes, duck books are so much fun to read

The only thing close to "funny animal" books that I have are my Raggedy Ann books.

They have lots of talking animals in the stories but they're not goofball funny like Rootie Katootie or something (which I have also)

I have a few other odds and ends but nothing significant other than the Raggedy's

Of course I like funny animal comics buuuut i've never really thought of them as 'funny animal' comics in general....I'm not sure if I have any Golden Age ones...I think I do...I prefer Disney over WB though.

Well most of the Barks Duck books are pretty funny, so are most of the Looney Toons. But it is odd that the Fawcett "Funny" Animal titles would still have animal nazis in them!

The problem I have with funny animal is that they aren't usually "funny". I want gut splitting laughter when I read them, but that never happens.

I collected early 1950's DC funny animal comics back in the 90's. I have about 20 or so of them. Not picked up any new ones for a while. I prefer Romance books to funny animal.
