O man, I feel guilty. I was totally kidding, I didn't really bid on it. The fellow has it listed as a Golden Age comic, likes it's really Whiz #1 (or #2 or whatever).

I wouldnt do that to another member on the board but spazz's right, there's others who visit as guests that probably wouldnt be as nice.

This is a treasury sized book. It is not a variant but a reprint from the 70's.

Also proper etiquette on this board is we do not snipe other people's listed auctions that they are bidding on, unless they say have at it.

I'm currently the high bidder on this gem, and I really can't afford more than $11.50.
Actually, I already own a copy of this particular comic, but it's always irritated me that they went ahead and wrote "GANGWAY FOR CAPTAIN MARVEL!" right between his legs. I've been searching for years for this variant without the writing.
