I believe many collectors feel this way unless of course the book was a non-modern age key issue signed by a creator, which this one is not.

In fact, some collectors view signatures as a defect.

RE: Help w/ Wolverine: The Origin #1 Signed

I seriously doubt you can get more than $50 for it...it's just not a key book signature or not...CPG's guide for CGC books can be way off sometimes...D

RE: Help w/ Wolverine: The Origin #1 Signed
batfan (4/22/2008)
dealers wouldnt give anything for it. they are looking to make as much profit. i would personally pay about 80 bucks for that.
I'm not looking for a dealer to buy it. I don't know if dealers buy stuff as they're more interested in selling. I'm curious to know what they would sell it for (maybe I worded it incorrectly earlier) if they owned it so I could figure out what I'm selling mine for.

But I'm sure that $80 is too low since an unautograph graded one is slightly less than that.

RE: Help w/ Wolverine: The Origin #1 Signed

dealers wouldnt give anything for it. they are looking to make as much profit. i would personally pay about 80 bucks for that.

RE: Help w/ Wolverine: The Origin #1 Signed

Well I want to sell it to a co-worker who's giving to his brother for his birthday. However I don't want to sell it too low because I have plans on what I'm going to put the money towards. So I'm really looking around to find out what someone else would pay for it, then I'll give my co-worker a slight discount due to me knowing him.

Wonder if I can find some type of place where I'm surrounded by dealers and see what they would offer. Of course, I won't find that place soon enough but it would be great.

RE: Help w/ Wolverine: The Origin #1 Signed

for once i have to say that cpg's cgc price is too low. i would say if it was to sell it would go for more. dont ya think?

RE: Help w/ Wolverine: The Origin #1 Signed

Thats the real thing, nice book to have. I'm new to the whole comic forum experience but I have a question. I have a copy of "Wolverine: The Origin #1" signed by Paul Jenkins & Andy Kubert. It's been CGC graded as 9.8 and has the Marvel Comics Certificate of Authenticity.

I can't seem to find a price for it and I have someone who offered me $40 for it but I think he's trying to pull a fast one on me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
