I am in the "in crowd" there. I was talking to him about TOD with sales and he says he hasn't been getting much of anything for the issues. We talked about issue 1. Here is what he told me. He tried selling it for $50 bucks, He ended up selling it for $10 and the book was in great condition. Weird.

RE: Tomb of Dracula Values.

I have a Tomb of Dracula #13 and it is one of my more valuable comics. Do these normally sell for more on auction sites or on sites like CPG? I'm not planning on selling, but would like to know.

RE: Tomb of Dracula Values.
jesjet1969 (9/7/2009)
I use seven diffrent market guides and NONE are ever exact. thats whats great about collecting suppy and demand!! Werewolf sales are getting slightly more than what CPG has them listed at. I added some example sales data to TOD to help explain the valuations.
See the following for example where current sales data is below what CPG valued this issue at back in 2007..

http://www.comicspriceguide.com/p-indiv.asp?comicTableID=39162

Current CPG is $56 in CGC9.4. A CGC 9.4 sold for $33 in Jan 2009 and $37 in Feb 2009

Earl.

RE: Tomb of Dracula Values.

I just did a survey of 4 recent auctions in CGC 9.4 and all four sold for less than current CPG guide. I have added the example sales data to the listing for your information. I will do further price checking on these titles over the next four days.

RE: Tomb of Dracula Values.

These titles were last reviewed in December 2007 and are in need of a new review, so thanks for bringing this to our attention. Values are however based on independent research and often differ from values shown in other guides.

Earl.

Tomb of Dracula Values.

I was wondering if the prices on The Marvel series Tomb of Dracula were current? The current Overstreet #39 has prices way higher than on the CPG site. Have these values been updated? Also-- Werewolf by Night? Prices way lower that Oversteet.

Kevin
