There is some market for german editions (Giant size XMen 1, Hulk 181, and others) but I really dont know why.

I am italian and I live in Spain, and I sold several italian and spanish editions that brought me some money, nothing amazing, but still over cover price. Last example was AMS 583, edited by Panini comics as a one-shot and reprinting Amazing Spiderman 36 (World Trade Center issue) and the Obama story from ASM 583 sold for $7. I also sold a couple of spanish sketchbooks (Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane, Terry Dodson, Bruce Timm, Alex Ross) that sold very well.

Not to mention Dime Press 4, an italian fanzine featuring the first appearance of Hellboy; I sold a couple of those for some very helthy profit:D

It may be worth something more to someone from the country that published it, but in the 'english' speaking market, I think it is fair to call it a curiosity.

A big Watchmen fan might find it interesting, but I would not expect any real collector interest.

The cards are stacked in favor of the American market.

I have a copy of "Vektere", which is a translated Watchmen #1 that I purchased in Norway MANY years ago. Recently had it graded by CGC, who said it was actually in Dutch. Anyway, I placed it up for sale on eBay, with the rest of my Watchmen set, but it doesn't seem to be getting much interest.

Basically, I was wondering if things like this have ANY value as collectors items or are they just cheap curiosities?
