I liked it, but it was a very, very, quick read. A good little story as viewed from a mouse's perspective. I also have the Mice Templar. I havn't started reading that yet.

Mav, do you reccomend Mouse guard for reading purpose alone? I have no interest in 'collecting' it per say, but it looks like it could be better than the majority of underwhelming books out these days.

Well, I want everything to be the best I can find. I have been trying to stay above 4.0 or better. Sometimes, I can't find certain issues, and may/might give in and just get a copy to complete. Once I do that, (complete a run) then I'll just keep an eye out for a better copy later, and upgrade it.

To me, 4.0's still have great eye-appeal. And depending on what is making it drop down to a 4.0, they make real nice and affordable copies. Some of the keys, I would never be able to afford in super-high grades. So, I just set my own standard to 4.0's that I can afford and still have nice looking copies.

Come january i'm going to start on my avengers set and on the golden age willing to go as low as 5.0

Ok, feeling lazy tonight.:doze: But, for now, let's just say I grabbed a bunch of Conans for a $1 a piece. If that. I'll list #'s later.:hehe:

Oh, and on Friday, I'm gonna check out some books/collection that some guy has and wants rid of badly.

This guy buys lots, like from storage buildings from where people didn't pay their monthly bill. He told me he knows nothing about comics, and just wants to recoup a little from what he had to pay out. I asked him if they were in bags and boards and he said yes. Let's hope there is something good in it!!

I got in a Showcase Comics #56. (4.0) Paid $1.04 + $3.95 for shipping. Total= $4.99. Took it to my LCS, flipped it for $25.00 in store credit. Not to shabby!:cool: (btw, I already had one). ;)
