The scan doesn't do it justice. The slab is a mess. If I get a chance this weekend I'll crack it out and scan it.

Last but not least... another difficult book to find in higher grades. The colors on this one really "pop" which is just about unheard of for most Fiction House not from pedigrees. Short run title, nice color, nice grade, and hard to find, many this my kind of book. :)

Not a single copy of this issue in the CGC census. Very tough book to find complete the way this one is. 2 to 3 times guide in any grade is not unheard of for this book, even raw.

I think it's because of the book being fairly dark. If you look at the Grimm Fairy Tale book I posted in general it looks much better.

The book is full of black and white photos of all the top burlesque dancers from the day along with information on how to dress, how to wear make-up, etc.

It's a heavy stock cover with a nice glossy paper inside and truly is about the size and thickness of a silver aged comic. (I have it in a silver age bag and board)

There really was a stripper school at the time that was run by Venus the Body in Hollywood.

I paid the unbelievable price of $10.00 for it. :D

The calendar page (that isn't part of the book) is about 4"x4" and was just stuck inside it I assume by the previous owner.

I'm very proud to be the first person to tell you how awesome that stripper book is! WOW! You have got to tell us how much you got that for, that book is just to insane. I think I'll change my name to Buffyfanfan now. I want a copy of that framed in my house, which I'm sure will suit my girlfriend fine considering she's a feminist type of girl.;)

No, none of my Fox books have them but if I can ever get my hands on that darn Phantom Lady 16 it will probably have pink pages.

Cream to Off-white doesn't bother me so much. You kind of have to expect it with golden age books mainly because a lot of the paper used was never truly "white" anyway.

Fox books frequently have "pink" pages. ;)
